You might be amused to find out that there are people who don’t like to sleep, especially at night. We call these people night owls, the night their blanket, a comfort zone. There are some common thoughts that every night owl experiences. This sketch explores the thoughts that visit a nocturnal being’s mind every night. They tend to somehow justify keeping up with this unhealthy lifestyle by comparing themselves with successful people. For them, the night is a euphoric time to be themselves, at their disposal to do what they wish. All this thinking and staying awake causes hunger as well, hence, they also like to eat junk at night. Well, all this comes at a cost, the cost of insomnia, the sleepless head when they actually have to sleep.
