Description

We all have had friends who can constantly be seen complaining about our unavailability. There are always friends who will interrogate us for time that is not spent with them. This sketch is based on such a friend in a court setting. The plaintiff friend argues that the accused friend, Veer, has not been spending as much time as before he was dating his girlfriend. He puts the friendship up for test in the court of friends. The play starts off with an intense discussion about the Veer’s ghosting and ditching of plans. He is further accused of providing inadequate attention to his friend. The session then turns into an argument wherein the accused also starts giving out his complaints, to which the judge suggests be done in the form of a water balloon fight. To prove his loyalty to Veer, the friend plays a “who knows him better” quiz with his girlfriend. The sketch ends with a friend of the girlfriend entering and grabbing the attention of the plaintiff and both of them deciding to settle the argument outside the court thanks to the attractive friend of the girlfriend.
