Description

The sketch revolves around the story of a dadi and her grandson in an argument regarding his marriage. The dadi plays all sorts of tactics she can in order to convince guddu, her grandson, to get married and have a child before she dies. This time she takes the help of his friend who is a doctor, Ankit, to lure him in a situation where he has to listen to her demands. They act as if the dadi has a serious issue, “vascular dementia” and try to emotionally blackmail guddu. Guddu being a smart guy figures the drama and turns the table around by creating a drama of his own wherein he acts as if he has arranged the treatment to be done in New York, with arrangements already in place. It is only when dadi and ankit break their drama, does guddu also break his drama. Upon the question of why does dadi did all this, she answers with the demands to which guddu keeps his conditions of why he cannot fulfil the demands, the condition being that he is gay and furthermore likes the doctor himself. Dadi takes a bit of time to accept his sexuality but in the end, she does accept the relationship, with a child still as the demand.
