The bride first gets uncomfortable by the number of people in the room that is meant for suhaagraat, on top of which the groom is nowhere to be seen.The next thought pops up is the duration of the nice treatment by the groom’s family, will it stay or wane after the suhaagraat. She is also taken aback by the sudden open-ness to talking about sex after years of awkwardness around the topic. She is also scared about the progression of the night, hoping it starts with foreplay. Anxious about the power dynamics of the night, she starts to think what she would do if the power rests in her hands. All this thinking culminates in the groom coming up to the room and sleeping.
