They have to constantly adjust their clothes, since hot dresses seldom come in a comfortable fit. If worn at a non high-end party, they could be teased for overdressing, which can be embarrassing, welcoming statements like “MET GALA pe aayi hai kya?”. The dress will render it almost impossible to sit or move in certain positions. The accumulation of all these problems lead to the person being over-conscious. They fear eating a lot (don’t want belly to protrude) or drinking too much (going to the washroom in such dresses is a pain).
